How to Qualify for Assistance

When times are toughest, individuals who don’t qualify for many government programs are often hit the hardest. The families we seek to serve face a short-term crisis in their lives due to reduced working hours, illness, divorce, death of a spouse/mate, domestic abuse, or significant unexpected increase in expenses.

Food assistance will be provided to all who are in need to alleviate hunger.

  • Everyone seeking services, other than food assistance, are taken in by appointment after a referral from another area social service organization, school or church etc. Food assistance will be provided to all who are in need to alleviate hunger.

  • At each visit you will be helped by one of our volunteers as you go through our agency.

  • All information taken at Hands of Grace is confidential and all of our volunteers that you will come into contact with have had confidentiality training.

By helping families meet their most basic needs our prayer is to open their hearts to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
